In addition to updating your browser, we also recommend increasing the number of colors your computer displays.

The manufactures default for the number of colors to display is 250. Your computer will actually display millions. Increasing the number will greatly enhance the look of the web pages you view. You will be able to see all the hues instead of the closest primary color.

Using Windows 95 it is a straight forward process, though it may be easier to print these directions before starting.

1. From the start menu, go to settings, click on Control Panel.

2. In the Control Panel double Click on Display

3. Chose the Settings tab. Go down to color palette. You will have several choices. It is probably already set at 250 colors. I set mine at High Color (16 bit), there is one higher than that - but in my opinion, the extra tad of color you get is not worth the slower load time.
Click Apply. You will need to restart your computer for the new settings to take effect.
