Village Council meets the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month at 7 p.m. The meetings are held in the Village Council Chambers.

In response to the public safety health orders issued by the State of Ohio and the recommendations of the U.S. Center for Disease Control, the Village of New London is taking precautionary measures for the health, safety and welfare of the general public and village employees from exposure to the Coronavirus. These measures are effective immediately until further notice.

These measures are effective immediately until further notice.
Village Council meetings held at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month will be closed to the general public. Meetings will be live-streamed on Facebook and can be reached at this location: https://www.facebook.com/Village-of-New-London-275757015797760/?ref=br_rs If members of the general public wish to offer a question or comment during council meetings, please contact Mayor Toby Thomas via text at 330-835-7503 either prior to or during the council meeting.
Minutes of each meeting will be posted promptly on the Village Website: http://www.newlondonohio.com .
If the Council determines to change this policy, or to change the schedule or cancel future “regular” meetings, notification will also be posted on the Village Website.

Volunteers Needed to Lead Council Invocation
The Village Council invites any minister of a church or member of a religion of a religious order representing any religious organization with "501(c)(3)" status recognized by the Internal Revenue Service to volunteer to present the Invocation at a meeting of Council by contacting the Fiscal Officer. [Council normally meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:00.] Volunteers will be accepted on a first come, first served, rotating basis. The Invocation may include a prayer, a reflective moment of silence, or short solemnizing message, and the content is not reviewed in advance by the Village, but is requested; to maintain a spirit of respect for all; to not exploit the opportunity as an effort to convert others to a particular faith or disparage the faith or belief of others; and to not exceed three minutes.
