New London schools boast an enrollment of 1300 students
in grades K-12. The school district, as a result of a 1950's consolidation,
comprises students from the Fitchville, Clarksfield, and Rochester areas
as well as students from New London. The high school has a computer lab
bolstered by computer stations throughout the school, the progressiveness
of our schools is really emphasized by our computer center in the middle
school at Fitchville while each elementary classroom also is computer-equipped
for the students. Combine a basic, progressive approach with a desirable
class size and you have New London Elementary and Middle Schools. The educational
opportunities in our town are enhanced by a fine Carnegie Library which
conducts enrichment programs for citizens of all ages. New London is also
the home of the Tri County Christian School, a ministry of the First Baptist
Church. The school enrolls students in grades K-12 and currently has more
than 50 students.
The New London community has easy access to a number of colleges and
universities. Click on the Web Links for education and fun link
