Nine members and guests attended the October 18 meeting of the New London Community Improvement Corporation at the New London Community Child Care Center with the staff providing lunch.

 

President Dar Anderson opened the meeting, and the secretary’s report was approved.  Treasurer Theresa Smith reported $1,476.06 in checking, $2,794.96 in savings, $6,119.42 in CDs and $404,368.70 in the Revolving Loan Fund.  The club has 50 members.

 

The Nov. 15 Annual Banquet is at the Grange at 7 p.m. and the cost is $12 a person.  Tickets are available at the NL Record office, Engraving by Steve and National City.  Ellen Simmons needs a count by Nov. 8 or 9.  Tickets can be paid for at the door.  The speaker will be Paula Armentrout from the Ohio Attorney General’s office, who will discuss identity theft.  The Business of the Year has been chosen and will be honored.

 

Lois Kosik has volunteered to run for the Board to replace Ellen.  The election will be held at the Annual Banquet.

 

Steve Von Behren is looking for people to serve on a committee to make plans for the school property.

 

The only November meeting will be the banquet.
