The Village of New London has a NEW website at www.newlondonoh.com. The old website will stay up temporarily to help ease people through this transition period, but it will be shutdown soon. This more modern website has all the functionality of the old one, like payments and city information, while also having new tools and functions. Please enjoy exploring our New Village of New London website and let us know what you think.

We have several properties in the village that are empty or abandoned. Due to liability issues please do not attempt to landscape or mow these properties. Please allow the Village Street Department to care for these areas. Certain steps need to be taken in order for this to occur.
NOTICE TO SANITATION CUSTOMERS:
Effective May 9th, 2022 Due to increased discrepancies with extra pickups we are now requiring customers to call the village office (419)929-4091 to request an extra pickup before these items will be picked up. We hope this change helps to alleviate the issues that have been occurring. Each weekly pick- up is limited to 6 bags or 3 – 32 gallon containers |

It is that time of year!! The flowers are pushing up through the ground, Robins are hunting worms, Dad’s & Mom’s are buying baseball equipment, kids can’t wait for the last bell to ring, and I am believing that the Pandemic has run its course!
If you are like Sheri and me, you can’t wait to get out of the house and be more active. We actually broke out our golf cart and took a ride around the Village this past weekend! It felt so good to feel the sun sending us its warmth. As we think of Spring, my mind goes to all the necessary things that need to be done in the yard and around the house. Preparing flower beds, replanting a small tree, fertilizing, washing the siding, and seeding the yard just to mention a few. But the work is well worth it and gives me a sense of pride. I hope that you all will jump in and help make your home and your street a beautiful, clean, and safe place to live. In doing so, you will help make our Village a beautiful place also. Thank you for choosing to live here and making New London the friendliest town around. Toby Thomas Mayor |
