Effective January 1st 2011 - Income Tax Rate Increased to 1.5%
This rate change affects all wages or income earned in 2011. Any resident that works inside the Village limits will see an increase in deduction of wages. Residents that work outside Village limits that pay taxes to other municipalities will still be given a credit up to 1% but will owe an additional .5% on wages - regardless of how much tax was paid to other municipalities.
